What's the fastest you've ever driven?

Somewhere around 110. Might've even been 120 but I remember telling my dad about it and pushing the speed down a bit in my story so he wouldn't have quite the heart attack so now I don't remember what it truly was. Somewhere in that range for sure. 

 

Normally, I am a very safe driver and strict with following the law of the road... besides that one time. It was an empty highway that was oddly straight. I had been on it for a few miles and hadn't seen a single soul and with the roads not curving at all, I just had to give into the temptation to shift gears into sport and floor the pedal. My windows were down and I wasn't wearing a shirt so I could enjoy the sensation of the wind on my skin after having top surgery (that feeling was the best that first year of not wearing a binder) and I was on my way to hike a cool trail. Was feeling great that day : ) 

 

It was actually terrifying to go that fast. I'm surprised I didn't lose control of my vehicle. Yet it was also an incredible feeling. I think if I weren't so scared of getting hurt or in some deep, deep trouble, I would've enjoyed it a heck of a lot more. I'll stick to rollercoasters, though

85-90. Not on my own, though. I was following my dad home and he wanted me to keep up with him.

I don’t think I’ve gone above 75 (partially because I’m still learning to drive, and I don’t feel comfortable going very fast).

I think I hit 110mph once when driving through Nevada. The speed limits are high to start with there.

I hit 80 kph once with a car and I’m not comfortable with that.... I hate cars. They have four wheels and I don't know where they are. Complete lack of control!

I once got to around 100 kph on a regular bicycle (downhill) and that was fine.

 

Basically, give me more than two wheels and I freak out.

Around 90, on a rain-slick road with my kids in the back seat with no seat belts.  Years ago, and I still flinch when I think of it.  I lost control and the car came to rest about 2 feet from a telephone pole.   I had only been driving about one year and just didn't understand hydroplaning.
