Question: why does the banner announcing issues call it "AVENews" when it's still "AVENues" according to the issue itself?

It was like that last issue and never changed, but should be a quick change @Kelly

I edited the banner when I made the update. It was like that to begin with.

I don't like the Ace/Aro Flag.

I like this one better because it has more dimensions to itec646018-e45b-4c6d-846f-a94bd2bee8f0.  It feels warmer and more personable, also it is more like me and how I feel.  The other two made me feel uncomfortable and like I wasn't consulted.

I filled out the questions of the month...love that you include diverse voices!! I am a newbie at all of this and am 59, so I know NO ONE who publicly identifies as asexual.

I am trying to find information pamphlets, brochures to share with my husband, children and others that I might come out to. Do they exist? Just general information. I printed off several FAQ from the AVEN website to share, but it would be nice to have a printable brochure.

Thanks.

@learning2bme :) Hello. Thank you, for your question.

(tags PT for help) @kelico @michaeld

Hello. This member would like to know if AVEN has any pamphlets, brochures, etc. that they can print and share with their family members.

Are there updated ones? The links I found for AVEN pamphlets in this thread don't work, anymore.

Links and Resources Masterpost - Visibility and Education Projects - Asexual Visibility and Education Network (asexuality.org)

Thank you, for your help!

Yes! We have a couple of little pamphlets that we created a few years ago...I just need to upload them (they're pdf's). : ) That's a shame all of those links don't work anymore!

Will these help? : ) Feel free to print them out, or simply share these links.

@kelico :) Okay. Thanks! That's great that there are some new ones!

I don't know if, perhaps, the older ones might've had outdated information, since they were from several years ago, and asexuality, research, etc. continues to advance.

@kelico Hi! Just one more thing I've thought of...should the new pamphlets be added to AVEN's main page, here, with a new section added for "Pamphlets," or something like that? Links | The Asexual Visibility and Education Network | asexuality.org

:) I'm just trying to think of all the places on AVEN where it might be helpful to add the links to the new pamphlets, in order to help let members know about it, if they would like to use them.

They certainly could. I'm not sure under which category they'd fall though...or how to add them. But I think that's a good idea!

@kelico :) Okay. I was thinking, perhaps, since the old thread I'd found with the previous, outdated pamphlet links was listed under its own section, "Pamphlets," that, perhaps, the same thing (i.e. its own section "Pamphlets") might be added to AVEN's main resources page.

tagging @michaeld,  in case they might know who'd be able to help add it to AVEN's main resources page.

...to add these links of new, AVEN pamphlets for members to print out. I'm thinking something like this, perhaps, near the top of the list (since it's a very small list, and I've wondered if it might be buried among the longer lists or not seen by members, if it's added to the bottom of the list of resources).

@michaeld Hi. Sorry. I know you were busy with the U.K. conference and trying to catch up, here. So, I just thought I'd bump this, in case my earlier post about it got buried in your notifications.

This could be another option, listing like this:
