WanderingPurpleDragon Posted May 23, 2022 Share Posted May 23, 2022 Hello! I'm new here and I'm in a place where I identify as asexual but I'm not totally sure what it means to me. I have a lot of questions but I don't really have anyone that I can ask. I've spent my teen years on thinking that something was wrong with me since I didn't have celebrity crushes. I also found out that what I considered crushes was also different from what others felt, my crushes mostly a fantasy of a strong friendship and hand holding when I was in high school. When I first heard the term asexual several years ago and thought it fit, I was made to doubt myself. But I'm not ready to go into any more details about that at this moment. I'm in a place where I want to accept myself as I am but I still don't know much about asexuality or if I completely identify with it. And even though I'm not ready to ask some of these questions in this post, I thought I'd say hi. I look forward to meeting others in the community! 1 Quote Link to post Share on other sites
