binary suns
I would elect a libertarian, a socialist, and a capitalist. What "parties" loosely speaking would you pick? for example, a political, economic, social, philosophical, religious, spiritual, or any other kind of group or belief etc. I would want a libertarian becasue they care about individual freedoms, a socialist because they care about people having a say in their government, and a capitalist becasue they care about optimizing the market. I have zero clue if this would be a good system. Or all the details of the rest of the political climate. What would you pick?

Lysandre, the Star-Crossed
I'd say my dream coalition would be the transhumanist, libertarian, and green parties ruling together. Basically create a technologically and socially progressive Libertarian Socialist nation...the polar opposite of what we have now on the mainstream political compass.
coolshades
Capitalist, because I like the free market Christian, because their beliefs would align with my own Not a Career Politician, because too many career politicians just tow the party line and are puppets of their party.
Calliers
I've learned to keep my political views to myself after losing one of my closer friends after I merely shared a political view on Instagram.

If your friend bails on you for making a statement over instagram, sorry to say Calli, they were never going to make it that far as a friend either to you or anybody.

Yeah to be fair, he was a bit of a hot head, and he wasn't like one of my inner circle friends, but I still considered him a good friend at least, and I mourn the loss. I liked the guy but I mean what can ya do.... it was probably eventually going to happen like you said, but politics can divide people anyway, which is why in the video above Jim Ryan chose to take a neutral stance on Roe v. Wade, and especially business wise this makes sense. I personally due to being brought up in a house full of conflict as a child tend to shy away from disputes and prefer to just be cool rather than go into a disagreement.

The magical part about politics that people and even politicians don't understand is that one can have an opinion and not try to alter everybody else's lives to fit it. But, politics at its core is designed to divide people anyway, so job well done I guess. I don't like disputes either. Waste of time. But you can't always dodge them either. It still does suck when stuff like that happens. But at that rate that's not on you. An angry person will inevitably find something to be angry about. You weren't the landmine that they stepped on. They just decided to throw a stick into their spokes and blame everybody but themselves.

Yeah, this is one of my fave pictures concerning politics, whoever's in power nothing is going to change, because politicians don't run the world, people with money (bankers, CEOs, boards of directors) do.... : What many fail to realize is we are no longer in a democracy but rather a corpratocracy where governments and corporations share this cozy relationship where laws are thought up by corporations (who by the way fund political parties) then passed on to the government who in turn make them law.

SorryNotSorry
That one's easy. I'd want Neil DeGrasse Tyson to be president, with Bill Nye as VP. Which office is 3rd in the line of succession after prez and VP? Because I'd want Amy Klobuchar to have that job.

Castellum
not sure about three..but they would need to have capitalist views for sure. also one that believed in less government red tape..not more. i want a government worried about the country..and running it efficiently. not one who is pervasive in wanting to run every aspect of my life and how i speak and pushing woke agendas to distract to you losing control.
