Sunflowers. They have a great singing voice (Plants vs Zombies reference)

I don't know much about flowers, so googled every one on the poll, and violets certainly look the most lovely to me.

Lysandre, the Star-Crossed

Amaranthus caudatus, but I find several of the species of amarath beautiful. Our local species isn't as pretty, but a lot of the others are gorgeous.
Sunflowers and roses are a close second and third.

@Lysandre, the Star-Crossed Good choice. Roses are my favorite flower and sunflowers are my second favorite. You have good taste.

I’m gonna go with the lotus because of all the spiritual and mythological implications surrounding it.

I love jasmine so much! It smells so nice, and it's really pretty too!

I like sunflowers too, they make me happy!

Irises. Especially the bearded ones. My mother grows some in her garden, and of all the ones she plants, I've always been especially drawn to them. I find the combination of yellow and violet particularly striking.

Lilacs are a close second for the scent, especially right after a rain.

I'm a big fan of "stock" or "Matthiola incana" specifically because of their smell. They smell like bubblegum to me.

Carnations.

(You weren't expecting that, were you? In general I don't like actual roses because they stink)

I wanted to pick several, sunflowers, marigolds, California poppies, dandelions (although not on the list), thistles (mostly because of the association with Scotland, but also because I like how they look), and some varieties of rose, and various wildflowers. I settled for sunflowers - in addition to looking cool they also provide nice edible seeds. :D

Was gonna pick rose but then I picked violet...we had this violet scented wax melt that I've come to associate with at least two really fond memories.

Dark red roses are my favorite. Yet if I had a daughter I’d name her Lily just because I like the way it sounds.

Muscari -- little blue flowers shaped like bells or puffy cap sleeves arranged so they look like little blue evergreen trees. I don't know how to describe them. We had them in our garden when I was a child and they were one of the first flowers of spring and I loved looking at and feeling them.

I also like crocuses because they are even earlier and spring and we had them in our front lawn and they can turn a plain lawn into a colorful, cheerful sight.

Of the ones listed: Poppy. I just love their shining red and the fact that you can't pick them without them losing their petals. They get back at you and remind you that beauty shall only be admired and not possessed.

I like that reasoning. I just picked roses because they're beautiful and smell nice, although I do like the meaning behind them and sunflowers.

I can't choose between Violet, Lavender, and Lilac - so basically, I guess I like the purple ones hahaa

Ended up going with Lavender since I'm also spiritually drawn to it!

If I had to decide on only one, I would say poppies. Their bright red colour just resonates with me, I guess.

I also really like orchids, sunflowers and roses, though.

Tulip, always and forever. I have a sentimental connection to tulips.

But from wild flowers, I would say poppy as well. Or wild roses.

I know that forget-me-nots can be considered pesky and invasive in certain context, but they make me happy.
