I am a 68 year old Allo partner of a 65 year old ace.  I found a New Zealand website in support of those of us who have lived for years in mixed relationships without realizing the depth of our sexual differences.  I am grateful for the abilities of the folks who write on that site - in the same paragraph I found sympathy for the person who learns after 40 years that their partner has never been sexually attracted to them (like me) I also learned how difficult it is for the asexual person who has in essence lived a life with which they were not truly comfortable.  As they mention- hopefully the knowledge being shared will save many from our pain
