Being greysexual/greyromantic?

Hi y'all!

 

I'm just kind of a newbie with all these terms, greysexual, greyromantic. but I think they do fit me? Like, whenever people are talking about sex or crushes or whatever, I do join them, but it's not that I have a lot to say about it. However, I do like romance, in the sense of hugging, holding hands and that kind of stuff, in movies/series at least (never had a relationship, but it seems cute), though kissing always seemed like kind of gross to me? I was also never really interested in sex or knowing sexual terms in high school. I wasn't at all interested until I got more and more questions about when I would get a boyfriend (or girlfriend, I mean I think I really wouldn't care about their sexuality, but I'm not sure). Not sure if I should share this either, but here I go (sorry in advance). Because I started to question myself about never having crushes/boyfriends etc, I watched some porn, just out of pure curiosity, to know if something would happen and it did? But imagining doing that with someone else? No, thank you. So uhm yeahh.. I do think I've had one crush when I was younger, but I'm even doubting that now and I probably had something y'all would call a squish? Okay, sorry for all my rambling, but I guess I just have to get it off my chest and this is also me asking for experience? Like, do you relate to this? How did you know/found out? Are you in a relationship or don't you want to and if so, how does it work exactly?

So really the bottom line is if you think gray-sexual and gray-romantic fit you, then that's great! For what it's worth, I am gray-romantic as well and I think the way you've described your attitude about relationships might fall under the category of aromantic/asexual since you seem uninterested in sex/romance, but hey I don't know you. With the porn thing, that doesn't really indicate much haha, plenty of aces/aros like watching porn for various reasons.
