大学生に入っているんので、たくさん試験があります。

I understood "Daigaku ni . . ." the rest is a little hard, "haitte iru'n no de" (entered college?) . . . "Takusan . . ." . . . "???" . . . " . . . ga arimasu."

What's this word: 試験? "iru'n no de" don't know that verb ending.

(I taught myself so you may have to explain things. But that's part of learning, I guess. It is good to practice here.)

Can I answer?

'Haitte iru' is the same as 'haitte imasu'. ''n' is a contraction for 'no', so I don't think you need it here... 'no de' is similar to 'kara'. Basically, 'Since I'm entered in university, there are lots of exams.'

わかりますか。

So the romaji (excluding the superflous 'n') would be:

Daigaku ni haitte iru no de, takusan shiken ga arimasu.

I had to look up the word for "exam".

Kinoko -

I just realized you accidently wrote 大学生 (daigakusei = university student) instead of simply 大学 (daigaku = university). At least, I assume 'university' and not 'university student' is what you meant to write. Right?

Konnichiwa! *bow*

This thread reminds me of something I've seen in a manga book:

692r6uiq.jpg

(The other language is German.)

Imagining talking traffic lights kept me laughing the whole day. I would jump ten meters high for shock if a voice next to me starts squeaking: "Ao! Ao!"

But somehow this is cute. It's animism: Everything talks. We don't have such things in our monotheistic, monolithic Europe.

Excuse me, but what is "asexual" in Japanese?

I don't hang out in the Japanese asexual community, but on asexual.jp they seem to mostly use Aセクシャル and アセクシャル (read: asekusharu). Just direct transliterations of the English.

And if you want to get technical, there's always 無性(むせい).

(A rather delayed response, but I just signed up!)

こんにちわ!どうぞうよろしく。^w^

Erm, my Japanese isn't all that great. I'm still teaching myself, but I don't make a lot of progress on my own. I really want Rosetta Stone or a teacher. D: I'll be majoring in it though for college. So maybe then I'll be able to talk to you better in Japanese!
