So maybe I have an LD and Asperger's?

It's possible to have both Asperger's and a learning disability. It's also possible for a learning disability to mimic the symptoms of an autism spectrum disorder, or vice versa. In either case, I wouldn't put too much stock in an online quiz for your diagnosis.

"Your Aspie score: 132 of 200

Your neurotypical (non-autistic) score: 76 of 200

You are very likely an Aspie"

XD No surprise there! I was diagnosed just after my 12th birthday(I'm 21 now) ^__^ I'm also asexual, and a romantic type too.

O.o There was a question in that quiz that said something about being so tired by socialising that you go "regenerate" alone. XD I know I get knackered after a day out, and I end up sleeping almost right through the next day, yet the phrasing makes me sound like some Time Lady from Gallifrey *gigglesnort* ;__; I don't wanna "regenerate" I like who I am now! XD hah-ha...sorry Doc Who withdrawel taking effect, I'll probably calm down on Christmas Day when I get my next fix =_=;

I have aspergers and have been diagnosed with it, and I'm asexual. I utterly despise it when my mates say the infamous quote "Would you shag her?"

Nope, not Asperger's but I do have a lot of Schizoid Disorder traits. I can get along with other people out of necessity but I prefer solitude.

Does anybody know any good online tests?

Or, preferably, where can I get properly tested?

Ive thought about this more recently, and the more I think about it, the more it seems ot make sense..

(Like, can I just go to a regulr doctors, or do I have to go to a specialist?)

Your Aspie score: 135 of 200

Your neurotypical (non-autistic) score: 60 of 200

You are very likely an Aspie

I voted before taking the test...seems I'm more of an Aspie than I ever imagined.

Just because you got high on the test doesn't mean your autistic ;)

That being said I was officially diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome, fun stuff that is yes yes.

Your Aspie score: 94 of 200

Your neurotypical (non-autistic) score: 117 of 200

You seem to have both Aspie and neurotypical traits

Lovely! I have no idea what either of them mean.

True, but the reasons why I (do) have many odd quirks, ways of thinking and social problems may lead to the conclusion that "I'm damaged goods", or no other excuse for others to think other than "what a rude, anti-social odd ball". Yes I've been called anti-social before although anti-social is the wrong definition.

Not my fault people think that way. When people can't understand me they assume all sorts of things.

I can't stop the wrong things people think and say, besides they won't listen to me anyway.

No one ever listens to me, at least not properly anyway.

I just took that test right now (took me about 2 hours, because I was preoccupied with something else and forgot I was taking this test)

Your Aspie score: 136 of 200

Your neurotypical (non-autistic) score: 53 of 200

You are very likely an Aspie

I have not been diagnosed by a doctor as having Asperger's Syndrome though. If I was to ever go see a doctor, there might be a good change at being diagnosed with it, but I'm not willing to find out.

Oh I know it's not to be taken seriously. :P Just like the "Personality Disorder Quiz"

There are Aspies who don't like touching other people or being close to them at all and can't comprehend sexuality because of this. These could be described as asexual.

I'm somewhere on the mild end of the autism spectrum (probably mild even for Aspergers) and this describes me quite well. That is actually how I came upon this forum.

However, I have learned to read and interpret body language to a fair amount of competency through excessive learning and trials, for lack of better words.

I would be more bugged if I wasn't Aspie. It is the same with asexuality; imagine if you were wondering why you had little or no sexual desire or drive and questioning if you could be asexual, only be be diagnosed as not asexual even though you have much of the traits/symptoms and as far as you can see it? It may only make you more curious to why you're 'abnormal' and you'll feel like an outsider to either sides. It's time like these I wish there were more 'middle groups' or 'neautral groups' for people more like myself, who are indifferent or a mix of both sides, or perhaps 'other'.

Thing is I have struggled with the non-verbal (body language) aspects of communication and I have obsessions fortuantely they enerally burn themselves out after six months or so....

I'm asexual, but I don't think I have Asperger's. My social awkwardness and anxiety (I think) are due to my depression.

As far as I actually remember, officially I am normal, and semi-officially I have 'Asperger's Tendencies', which basically means I have some of the traits, but not the full syndrome, and I voted based on this. However I am suspecting that I may have shifted towards Asperger's since then (The tests were 7-8 years ago now.)

For the record, I'm Asexual

I have a high-functioning autistic half-brother, and intermittently display a few aspergers symptoms, but have never been diagnosed.

I don't think I suffer from Asperger's. More likely anti-Asperger's syndrome if I'm permitted to invent such a thing. I understand that people with Asperger's tend to develop routines. Well I HATE routine. I need variety all the time and am easily bored. And I understand that people with Asperger's tend to have difficulty relating to other people. Well I have a lot of empathy for other people, to the extent that I once got rejected from a job out of hand for the sole reason that I was considered too pleasant. If I had to say there was a difficulty, I would say it's that other people have difficulty relating to me, not that I have difficulty relating to them. Anyway I took the test and got 51 Aspie, 149 Neurotypical. So definitely don't think I have Asperger's.

I'm pretty certain I don't have Asperger's. I have a select few aspie-like traits, but nothing outside 'normal' levels, I believe. But there wasn't an option for someone who's not, but has some traits, so I just put 'No. And I'm asexual.'
