nutterwithasolderingiron Posted October 18, 2021 Share Posted October 18, 2021 ok. for women, it's fine. you can more easily vet the people who match with you, that can only really be a positive. for a man, it's basically a ghost town that tries to force you into paying for features at every opportunity. honestly, i used it for a good 6 months and in that time, got a whopping 2 matches, both of them timed out because they were dead profiles. from what i've read, bumble is one of those dating apps that will make matches on your behalf if you've not signed into your profile after a certain time, so does tinder and a few others. honestly, i feel like the dating app experience for men and women (sorry for using binary gendered terminology btw) is different. for women, it seems to be about getting a lot of creepers and abuse, for men, it's really just pornbots OR silence, that's why when you get the rare female creeper/abuse...... it feels 100x worse imho. I'm not able to feel anything for strangers with only a photo & minimal info- I've no idea how people date. Out of all the apps, I thought this would be the one most suitable for me. I prefer OKC - they have a question along the lines of 'Would you consider dating someone who does not experience sexual attraction?' - if you have both answered that question, you should be able to see their answer (unless it was answered privately).
