LucyT Posted March 6, 2021 Share Posted March 6, 2021 Hi I finally decided to take the plunge and say hi, as I'd like to start reading and posting in these forums... I've been gradually realising I'm asexual for years (including the last few years of my marriage) and the moments of 'oh so that's why...' have been getting closer together and louder, to the point of being hit over the head with it, metaphorically of course. It just makes so much sense of who I am at my core, as opposed to how I've felt compelled to act throughout life, especially since learning that aesthetic attraction is not the same as sexual attraction. I'm recently divorced and have 2 teenagers (16 & 18) who live with their dad. Definitely asexual, haven't figured out the romantic angle yet. Looking forward to getting to know you all!
