Kasseb
Hello, I'm writing a book on "deviant sexualities" or paraphilias. This includes pedophilia, hebephilia, zoophilia, etc. I need help from you guys trying to pinpoint all the types of things I should talk about in the book.
Sarah-Sylvia
I'm not sure people on an asexual site would know much around that stuff. Maybe a few, but the things you mentioned are also taboo topics, so kinda difficult for people to talk too much about. There is info out there in psychology around it though. And anyone could start with just wikipedia and follow any terms they're interested in knowing.https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paraphilia

Ksenia
I also wanted to write a book about sexuality. There is a lack of general theories of sexual development. My favourite theory is "reward competition feedback model" so far. https://www.researchgate.net/publication/344714038_Learned_but_Not_Chosen_A_Reward_Competition_Feedback_Model_for_the_Origins_of_Sexual_Preferences_and_Orientations Also I like this paper https://www.researchgate.net/publication/318356634_Situating_Human_Sexual_Conditioning I tried different forms of "converstion therapies" in order to change gender identity and sexual orientation (I am trans, ace and i have paraphilia -- sexual masochism) so I know all this stuff on practice. If your particular interest is not only general theories of sexuality but paraphilias then you should read Cantor's articles on paraphilias. He is well known expert in the field https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/James_Cantor . There are also excellent german studies of pedophilia. http://www.nemup.de/
