As someone with a bad history of dealing with cheating in my family...(Too much to unpack there), Understanding this now gets me fired up too! Yeah exactly, she's like tearing his life apart (well trying to) out of her own selfish desire to get a guy back who she dumped years ago.

 

In the live concert where she admitted she sent the album to his house (then cried while she sang the song) HER OWN FRIKKEN KID WAS IN THE AUDIENCE WITH HIS DAD. 

 

That's like how to fuck your kid up 101: Sing a song about this dude you dumped years ago and have been stalking for ages now because you realized you can't let him go, after coyly admitting to the world you sent the album to his house (clearly because he wouldn't answer your calls so were trying one last ditch attempt to get his attention) while you (the kid) are sitting on your dads knee and your dad isn't the guy in the song. Just... wait, what? How did nobody click just how bad this all was?? Like "oh yeah daddy's second best. Mummy really wants this dude she's been stalking after dumping him years ago but he won't answer his frikken phone" ...Y_Y

I agree that YouTube can't filter everything that is said on videos marked as minor-friendly, though AVEN is manageable with a human eye, YouTube relies on Bots for all of it'd Moderating due to its size.

There's other ones about him as well where she's waiting in the parking lot or something and sees him and his wife and wonders if the wife compares to her (something like that) but everyone ignores the fact that she's WAITING IN THE PARKING LOT TO WATCH HIM. I went through them all a few years ago after I heard Hello for the first time and was shocked by how sexist and awful it is. If a man sang that same song everyone would call him a stalker creep, but a woman with a minority body shape sings it and the world loses their shit in obsessive love for her art. Gross.

I totally agree, and especially about JT. Funny enough, the song he did for the kids movie, Trolls, "Can't Stop the Feeling", seems to have some sexual implications as well. Talk about uncomfortable! Also I really hate "Rock your body" lol

Songs that openly encourage "setting a house on fire" to deal with problems, physically beating someone, etc. I know some people who have 'intermittent explosive disorder' which in simple english means their brain is damaged and has no reasonable response to anger (physically explosive, absolutely refuses to listen to logic, they're at a huge risk of physically hurting peope out of anger, 'rage blackouts' where they don't remember what they do when they're angry, etc.) and they listen to this type of music on a regular basis. If you have anger problems to begin with (and are well aware of said problems, like punching holes in property, destroying property, etc.) and listen to this crap? You're openly encouraging your own very irrational (and often dangerous) explosive behaviors that's going to land someone in the hospital or a morgue.

Personally, I can't listen to Janet Jackson or Prince.  They have great songs, but other songs by them are so perverted that I don't want to hear them sing anything.
