Cate Perfect
You, unfortunately, posted in a troll's post and it was locked (and we were distracted by fighting the troll anyway). Sorry. Cate
Live R Perfect
Hello Zhaneel :) Yes unfortunately your heartfelt post got lost in the vicious argument that was taking place on that particular thread. Don't take it personally...we've just had a lot of trouble with a particular member recently and it has been very distracting. I strongly recommend that you start a new thread of your own in the Welcome Area to introduce yourself. This way, no-one will miss you. I hope you decide to stick around a while and get to know us. Jayann
Yes, please do post again in the Welcome Area. We never intentionally ignore newbies (unless they are troll-like.) :? Just got lost in the crossfire of the Great Flame War of 2003, I'm afraid.

cijay
STARVE THE TROLLS! Negative feedback is what s/he wants, it's like feeding him/her oxygen and giving him/her control of the entire board. Y'all know s/he'll never say anything of vital importance or intelligence, s/he has nothing in common with any of us, no original thoughts and everything s/he posts is a lie (which is why I'm using androgynous pronouns). S/he gets off on the name-calling, posting porn (I'm told), making people angry, it's a classic sign of someone with no life. If we just don't answer, s/he'll find somewhere else to play. JKReagan99
Hey Zhaneel, welcome :) We are really sorry you were ignored after your first post :( I hope you have a good time here despite how things started out for you.
Zhaneel
thanx guys. sorry about all that, i've just been going through a real hard time. I'm not a troll, Cijay, honest. i'm not trying to start anything. The last thing i want to do is make people fight. thank you all for the support. i didn't mean to make anyone mad by agreeing with the 'troll's point of view that he didn't want to be asexual anymore. I think my problem is deeper than that though. I'm not in the well i was yesterday, so i'm not sure what i even meant by my last post.
fluffy_hime
Welcome Zhaneel. I read your first post. I can't relate so much but I'm sure there are people here who can, people who hate the things/organs that make them sexual beings, or rather, the things that make them sexual to others. I know I hate menstruation, especially since I'll never be using it to bear anything, but I don't hate the uterus itself, per se. Anyway, stick around!
aury
exactly. there were some things there that could be agreed w/, & others that seemed kind of... eh. welcome, none the less.
Jayann
I guess I'll just write my thoughts in reply to your Lost Post here in this thread. Ahem. I'm asexual, and i hate it. It can be a frustrating thing, living in a world obsessed with The Fucking. Still, I don't hate being who I am. This is what feels perfectly natural for me. If anything, I sometimes hate the way that other people can be, even if who they are is no more their own fault than who I am is mine. Sexual predators are a completely different matter. These sick beings are well deserving of any and all hate they cause in people. I honestly do believe that hetersexuality is the root of all pain. homosexuals aren't really hurting anyone. they are exploiting their own gender and it's all harmless and innocent. heterosexulaity, however, is seeing a person slightly different from yourself and not seeing them as a person, but a fuck toy (oh i'm sorry, would it be better if i sugar coated it and called it "making love"? stupid sexuals). I return to my earlier remark about people being who they are. Heterosexuals are who they are, and they cannot change that anymore than we can change our asexuality. Furthermore, the statement you've made, you must admit, is an unfair generalization. To accuse all heterosexuals of being heartless fuck machines is being small-minded and cruel. And to assume that all homosexuals are completely free from experiencing mindless lust and treating others as just a piece of ass, is likewise erroneous. It's just as wrong as assuming that all asexuals are celibate intellectuals (which, no matter how you take this stereotype, is still in fact an incorrect generalization.) Oh, and just one question: why is sexually exploiting one's own sex not as bad as exploiting the opposite? People are people. Exploiting ANYone is intolerable. Sexual exploitation IN ANY SENSE is anything but harmless and innocent. At any rate, "heterosexualists," that is, persons who believe in (i.e. made the conscious decision to support) the supposed righteousness of heterosexual behavior (and want to believe that everyone is intrisically het, but, perhaps, "confused"), are folks to watch out for. THEY are the ones who will try to show you the "error of your ways," and bring you back to the One True Sexuality. Hope I made a few valid/thoughtful points. Welcome to the board. EDIT: And in other news, welcome to my 1100th post!
VivreEstEsperer
Zhaneel, welcome to AVEN. Everyone else is right, your first post got buried in a locked thread. I went back to read it though and am glad I did. I know what you mean about trying to be happy and trying to make it in such an oversexualized world. It's really hard when you get so many media messages saying you should be a certain way and you just aren't, no matter how hard you might try. I do think that for both gays and straights it is the same thing, they both tend to look at their partners in a very sexualized way. But..yeah..that must be hard not having anyone take you seriously cus of the way you look. I'd be frustrated, too. That's the good thing about online. Physical looks dont play a part in how you respond to or percieve the person you're communicating with, and it's so much easier. So, again, welcome to AVEN, Zhaneel, and I hope you'll stick around a bit and find a place you can be comfortable in. Julie: Happy 1100th! Wow! quite an achievement. i just got 1700 myself and sat there staring at the numbers for a bit. Kate

Guest
People are people. Exploiting ANYone is intolerable. Sexual exploitation IN ANY SENSE is anything but harmless and innocent. One of the truest statements that has ever been said, Julie.
Gorax
Damn! Now that you mention it, I do remember your post. I also remember the way you described the female organ . . . Man that made me laugh  Welcome! Maybe you could repost your introduction in the welcome area?
