What is the first word that comes to mind when someone mentions sex? It can be a non-sense word, or an onomatopoeia...!

"Again?"

Actually, this answer depends a lot on who that someone is, and what the context is ... I really love goofing around with language, so I might take it as an invitation to play.

Sometimes that's my response as well... but in a very different sense, haha.

"Sex, again, on AVEN? surely not again" :P

I don't have a word but I feel a little anxious to hear the word sex

I get incredibly anxious and uncomfortable if a conversation turns to sex, might stem from having no experience and spending years hiding that fact

It'd be like that most of the time. But then again, it really depends on the context. If it's about me, then the bear picture above explains it the best (I'm sex-repulsed only when it comes to me... even the mere idea can trigger my repulsion).

Spoiler

This is why I really dislike the "first person view pornography"... Regardless if it's drawn or not... even if it's from a male perspective, it can still cause my stomach to turn. Idk, I tend to become way too empathic when it comes anything first person related sometimes.

And yes, I have difficulties writing this part

But if it's not about me, then I can talk about it from scientific perspective or in kind of dissociating way if you catch my drift.

I can do this to a certain extent, but if it leaves the realm of what would be discussed in a into to biology class I experience a physiological fear response and my previous post best describes my thought process

"ok..."

I'm not against talking or thinking about sex but it doesn't serve a purpose to me so I'm very meh about it.

The number 6.

Sorry, I am German, we say 6 like "sex" (and write it like "sechs")

Spoiler

but if I know the context isn't about the number my first thought is "oh the mystery thing that everyone but me has experienced already"

Yes I don't even mind it when people tell me TMI about their last sex... it demystifies it and satisfies my (nonhorny) curiousity. Like "oooooh that's how it works/that's what it feels like/ that's what common problems are/ that's what it is like in reality in comparison to what the media tells us!"

More like a phrase

Ah yes that, that is a thing

I guess my brain does a quick "uhoh".

Not because I dislike it, or can't handle hearing about it, but if it is mentioned that probably means I'm about to be pulled into some explicit discussion on sex and then my inexperience shows and makes me self conscious.

I was just hanging out with some friends the other day and during a discussion on periods had mentioned I was on the pill, but then this later turned into the question.. "Does that mean your f***ing??!!" They have always been respectful of me though and when I declined to offer any details they didn't push it. But this kind of stuff always makes me go into a mild panic mode since I'm not used to talking about my own sex life with anyone in detail and don't feel comfortable doing so at this time.

I don't really think of a word, but rather I see it visually. It's maybe my own funny and mocking interpretation of those sex scenes in movies.
