If sex is so instinctive....

1. What does "manscape" mean?

2. As far as I know, penises aren't hairy themselves, only the base of the penis is covered in pubic hair.

3. And, obviously, "girls" (or, rather, women. And men.) don't have to suck any penises because sex isn't obligatory. And for women, political celibacy is a choice worth considering.

Just asking. I am genuinely curious. I am a 43 year old virgin, and after being around people who told me there was something wrong with me, I gave in and performed oral sex on a man when I only meant to make out, just kiss. He pushed my head down and I rationalized that I must have consented to this. He was hairless and I thought it was odd. He also ordered me to wax or shave my vagina. Wish this never happened. Didn't have an instinctual desire to do this.

Also. there is nothing political about my virginity. If I needed sex. I would get it.

I didn't say that you, particularly, should. I simply truly believe that concerns about sex as a means of perpetuating inequality are a legitimate reason to be celibate.

However, I would say that my own celibacy is about 55% personal sex aversion (nudity aversion and so on), 30% being convinced that there would be nothing worthwhile to "gain" by overcoming my aversion and becoming capable of having sex (and, because of my sex aversion, the very idea feels violating), and 15% political sex aversion.

I have a question about porn. It teaches that all men manscape and are hairless. Is this true, or are girls expected to suck hairy penises?

For me, porn did not teach me to be hairless, that was a personal preference as I hate hair in pretty much any part of the body (it causes me anxiety)

I definitely can't sit and watch anything with hair, it's just an instant "No, just no" reaction. And no girl is expected to do anything they don't wish to.

Fairly sure unless you have some sort of hairless gene, everyone's hairy in the nether-regions by default. And no one should be "expected" to suck a dick at all. Or indeed any other body part. Free and informed consent please.

I'd kill for a gene like that but that it also included all body areas

I wouldn't, I wish I was hairier.

why does pornography exist? If we humans are animal mammals, why do we need something artificial to show us how it is done?

My theory is that we are all living in a certain man's imagination, our creator.

Most of us men and a few women are visual creatures, and we have various prefs in body aesthetics. For example, a man who wants to father lots of kids might prefer women with wide hips, because they're an indicator of less difficulty in cranking out babies.

You know, so much stuff about human sexuality is impossible to discuss (even with other asexuals!) without harking back to the caveman days. My own theory is that humans evolved to be extremely horny as a way to offset a high infant mortality rate which has dogged us right up until the Industrial Revolution and the discovery of antibiotics. Unfortunately, after those developments in history, our evolved horniness as a species didn't fade, so we got overpopulation, and, well... just look at the planet.

My assumption is that they look at it to experience sexual arousal.
