How many people do you share a home with

To clarify my situation, I rent a room from my father and stepmother with another border because it is far cheaper than finding my own place and it isn't like i have a partner. It is crowded with 4 adults in the house, but we get along. We are eventually going to be moving to a new place without the other border, where I will be more responsible for taking care of them than the other way around.

That is my ideal situation. I don't mind people, and I would love t o live in a communal environment, but being alone is far better for my psyche than a small group.
