asexuality is more about if you feel the need to engage in sex rather than fantasies. While it's alot more common for aces to be repulsed by sex than an allos, repulsion doesn't automatically make you ace.

The main point of Asexuality is not experiencing inherent sexual desire to have sex with others (even if you find certain people hot). Respulsion doesn't necessarily has to be in present, even tho repulsion and lack of desire can go hand-in-hand in some cases.

 

Take the heterosexual men for example - heterosexual men not only not want to have sex with other men but some of them might be repulsed/disgusted to the idea of engaging in sexual activity with other men.
