Can anyone be so kind as to recommend me some good horror movies to binge while I'm stuck at home? I'd prefer stuff I can find on Netflix but any suggestions are appreciated!

Grumpy Alien

On Netflix (UK):

The Haunting of Hill House is fantastic - it’s a series though, not a movie

The Lodgers

Ghost Stories

Cargo

The Visit

Creep

A Quiet Place

Annabelle Creation

Insidious (multiple movies)

Annihilation

The Pretty Little Thing That Lives In The House

I would recommend The Host by Bong Joon Ho (Parasite's director)

Scrolling through Netflix myself...

They have the old school slasher movies, like Friday the 13th and Nightmare on Elm Street .... I also see Child's Play and Candyman.

"The Forest" is pretty good. Entertaining enough for me. A lot of people liked "The Witch" but meh for me.

I like Orphan (2009 movie, not to be confused with Orphan Black). In my opinion it's more thriller than horror, a good thing for me because I wouldn't be able to take an all-out splatterfest. It still has some pretty gruesome imagery though, and there's a totally out-of-left-field plot twist near the end, which is still putting it somewhat mildly.

I HAVE A BETTER ONE!!!!! If you like comedy (and zombies) Try Shaun of the dead! It's funny as hell and has some good kills!

Apostle (2018): Super gory period piece about an island of cultists.

Event Horizon (1997): Haunted space ship. Sam Neill is a scientist who's so preoccupied with whether he could, he didn't stop to think if he should.

Pan's Labyrinth (2006): Guillermo del Toro doing his thing. Another period piece with cool creatures.

The Last Exorcism (2010): Found footage of an ex-exorcist trying to expose exorcisms as totally fake. Guess what happens.

All on Netflix 👍

Not sure about these, since I'm not a horror movie fan, but...

Wrong Turn (2003). I think there is a sequel too but I'm not sure.

The Hills Have Eyes Franchise (1977-2007).

Those feature cannibalism so expect a lot of gore.
