In 1981, a woman named Catherine Kobaly wrote a letter to the feminist newspaper Heresies. She thanked them for their recent issue that centered marginalized sexualities but added, “I also felt a bit left out, for among the many points of view represented, I was unable to find one with which I could identify wholeheartedly.”

I did not mean to preach religion, but that was my point when I posted about asexuals being church leaders and the rational was they did not have obligation to marry and have children so had more free time to serve church. Asexuality has always existed. It became "abnormal" in a highly sexualized "modern" society. I mean to mention the historical aspect, not the religion part.
