I know this article is old, but I stumbled on it recently and I think it's great dialogue for our community (sorry if it's already been posted before!). The author of the article had written a previous article on asexuality. After an asexual reader contacted her and told her about all the mistaken misrepresentations in her previous article, she interviewed the reader and wrote this article correcting all her mistakes. It's so nice to see a non-asexual journalist who is willing to take the time to communicate with us to make sure we have accurate representation and to dispel even her own misconceptions. The asexual person in the interview did a fantastic job explaining our orientation too! I wish we could see more articles like this.
