reimigi
I've been trying to wrap my head around asexuality, and a few weeks ago I found out I may be asexual myself. The problem is, I do fantasize about sex, specifically with fictional characters and like, two celebs. I also enjoy masturbating and watch porn. However, I would never actually have sex with anyone whatsoever. I feel no need to, and I'm actually disgusted by it. My friends are always going on about how they want to fuck a certain person, and I'm left in the dark because I have NEVER felt that type of way towards an irl crush. Even forcing myself to think about them sexually is so cringey and nasty to me. The most I would actually do with a person is probably make out?? But even that is pushing it. I'm also quite young (17) and every time I mention that I absolutely do not want sex, people say "Oh, you'll find the right person!" or "You'll grow out of it." But.. I've felt this way for years. A ton of people my age are already sexually active and have been for a while, and I know I would never ever want to do anything other than be romantic with another person. What could this be?? AceMissBehaving
No one can tell you what label you are, but your experience sounds a lot like how I felt growing up. It’s possible things will change, but also possible they won’t. People will probably be dismissive at first, but they’ll “grow out of it” with time (that line cuts both ways!) the important part is you being comfortable with who you are. gisiebob
and sometimes it's ok to be comfortable with uncertainty, it is perfectly acceptable to consider yourself 'questioning' if you think that fits more than carving a label into stone for you. don't worry about this too much, you are already who you are, all this is is figuring out how to express who that is to the rest of the world
