Nino yuri
I just recently realized that I fell under the term asexual and have lots of questions and this is an important question of mine.
Anthracite_Impreza
It doesn't. It's an orientation just like being gay, and there are no known (inborn) health implications to that either. Aces are more likely to suffer mental health issues but that's cos of the stress of being a social minority, not because of being ace.
R_1
Well, it doesn't affect your health. Sex is one way of exercising. On average, 69 calories. You can get more in a gym.
Purple Wanderer
Excessive consumption of cake means the majority of Aces die early due to icing overdoses. Fortunately for me I only realised I was ace at 29 so I may last longer than most.
Mikachu
It doesn't effect your physical health unless it effects your mental health to the point where its causing physical problems
Skycaptain
As the others have said, good news it doesn't.
fishcrow
It's good to at least be aware of your body! Most of us don't think about our lower halves, but I recommend trying to get to know that area-- in case something changes, you'll be able to recognize what's normal for you. Asexuality might impact your desire to look desirable, though, but if you keep healthy for the sake of being healthy you'll be okay.
Stoictrek
Many asexuals release their sexual energy through masturbation, creativity, sports... being asexual means not having desire or not to engage in sex activity.
