I've been romantically attracted to guys, girls, and everything in between. Currently i'm even crushing on another gender-fluid person. But not once in any of my relationships have i got sexually aroused. For maybe 3 years I thought i was demisexual but im just starting to second guess it do to my current relationship with this person im crushing on. I've read a few articles and even some from here but im having one major problem. I masturbate. Now i realize from what I've read it happens... but what people describe when they do it is much different than what i experience. For one, while i never get sexually aroused by real people, fictional character do. I find find fiction characters hot unlike real people. And when i masturbate i image two fictional males and never myself in various situations. I don't really get 'horny' and masturbate though, usually im just bored or can't sleep and this is my fantasy material. i do read hentai, drawn porn, but real porn is gross to me and the idea of having sex with someone makes me extremely uncomfortable. But I really love nonsexual physical affection like kissing, hugging, cuddling. Am I Asexual? or am I something else? Quote Link to post Share on other sites

The other stuff doesn’t really affect your orientation; if the idea of having sex makes you “extremely uncomfortable” then I think you’re ace.
