Peter Kingsman
Hello! I’m new, I’m a bit shy too and I need help and advice. I don’t know what the term is called but I want to keep my feminine parts (my breasts and vagina because I was born female) but I also want a penis. I’ve been struggling about that for a long time too. I keep trying to search up for surgeries about wanting a penis but keeping my vagina and I’ve come to dead ends. I don’t even know if it’s possible but I really hope it is, I just want to feel balanced out. I wake up feeling more masculine than feminine but the thing that is missing is a penis. Now, some days it’s the other way around but I would still want a penis too. I’m curious if anyone here could help me or give me advice about this? Right now I feel pretty alone about feeling this way.

Well there maybe be surgeries that could be done,.. but it would have to be custom made by someone who can do something special to create the male parts, and that would be difficult since it has to use something that's part of your body to make it, unless there are techniques that can use more synthetic materials, but I haven't heard of that myself. The best you can do maybe is go on testosterone in order to enhance the size of your clitoris, which can be used in it, but taking testosterone would mean that you would develop some male characteristics, such as body and facial hair, voice change, and some changes in how your fat is distributed, I think. The best option is for you to talk with a gender therapist, who could help you in general with these things, as well as look at options that could be possible with the doctors and surgeons they know. I think that it may also be worth looking at options that could help you feel like you have something down there, without just surgical options. Talking to other non-binary people and even trans men could give you some insights on possibilities. I hope you can find some things that help you, and feel happier in life and as yourself

I feel at some points there should be techniques that can use synthetic materials too, but I haven't heard much around that. There still has to be enough to have some muscles, skin and nerves, in any case. Maybe someone else knows more about that stuff though.
elizabeth17
hi idk about surgeries. Have you tried packing? Idk much about it but I know you can actually buy a packer that looks like a penis. I know it's not the same as having one that is a part of your body, but I think some people find them really helpful.
Sarah-Sylvia
You know what, it wasn't that hard to find this (putting it in spoilers) : Spoiler Genital reconstructive procedures (GRT) use either solely the clitoris, which is enlarged by androgenic hormones (metoidioplasty), or also use free tissue grafts from either the arm, the thigh, the abdomen, or the back (phalloplasty), most of which further use an erectile implant. In either case, the urethra can be rerouted through the phallus to allow urination through the newly constructed penis. The labia majora are united to form a scrotum, where prosthetic testicles can be inserted. So I guess there are things that can be done, and again the hormones probably can make a difference in the size of it, though it could take possibly a while to be on them to see a difference. At least it's worth talking to some professionals to see what's possible

There are also packers available that work as STPs(Stand To Pee). But practice first! Hopefully if you do purchase one, it’ll be a worthwhile investment. I sometimes use one myself. PoeciMeta
I'm quite the opposite, I want to get rid of mine but absolutely don't want a penis constructed. But same as you, I can't find serious surgical options, not from internet at least. All I can find is articles on female genital mutilation 😞 I think the best option would be discussing this directly with a gender therapist or a surgeon, so you can tell them exactly what you want. I guess few people want ''nonbinary genitalia'', too few for it to be a documented option like binary genital surgery. But in theory, it's certainly possible, I think it has been done before. We ''just'' need to find a surgeon skilled enough and willing to do it.
Sarah-Sylvia
Oh they're definitely done, especially if all you want is to get rid of something. It's just about having the right connections. I would guess it depends in which country someone lives in too.

My country's health system is relatively good, but I heard it's a bit late with mental health (at least it's very late with autism). Not to mention what I want being called ''genital mutilation'' and outlawed in many countries... >.>

Sometimes you can ask them to contact others they know who might have info on what you're looking for. Or you can contact people yourself you think might have info. It's not too bad here in Canada, but we're definitely lacking on a lot of things. And we didn't even have much before the last years in certain places. There's no gender therapist around where I am, but I did manage through asking a bit around. (at least for hormones)

I don't have a gender therapist yet, but my current therapist might be able to point me to a good one. That would be the first step, I guess - I don't know who else I could ask. Thanks~ Yeah... that field has yet to develop... I'll probably have to go to the capital for a good gender therapist. 21 minutes ago, Peter Kingsman said: That’s amazing, and thank you for your comment! Reading this gave me more hope. Glad I could help! ^^ It's normal for people with unconventional wishes to have to search more, simply because the options they want isn't talked about or known of much... that doesn't mean they don't exist... it might be difficult, but we can make it~
