So one thing led to another, I decided that the hill next to the lighthouse would be the best spot, and since I still had all the bells I got today in my inventory, I paid off the fund right then and there. All of the items are so nice to look at. too, but I don't know if it's worth it, to temporarily cancel the Beautiful Town ordinance just to get the first four items. That's all for today! I would rather there be a way of getting those Items that isn't impossible with Beautiful Town ordinance active. Like maybe you could need to collect flower petals to trade for items, but they only appear if your town is free of weeds, and maybe flower petals could have a higher chance to appear the more flowers you have in your town. Pate visited my House unexpectedly while I was in the middle of putting things away, but thankfully she didn't stay long. It's always kind of awkward when animals randomly visit like that. Tasks Accomplished: Did some gardening Dug up fossils Harvested Durians and Mangos Harvested Perfect Cherries Did a lot more gardening, including putting the last seven pairs of flowers needed next to the Jacob Ladder's flowers; hopefully I'll get the last few hybrids left to get] Harvested Bananas and Coconuts Sold fruit and fossils Gathered and sold Seashells Updated Kittycat Town Dream Watered flowers Items Received: Letters + Pave items [from the Campground] Letter + Natty T-Shirt [from Goldie; I've no idea why it's called that, it just looks like a stripey pink shirt to me] Yellow Bar Shirt [from Pate; it's pretty cute, so I decided to keep it] DF #6 again = Blue Bookcase [consolation prize] #45 again = Mario Mustache White Violet and Red Lily [bought and planted] Ninja Pants [bought; FINALLY! Now I have the whole outfit] Next Plans: same as yesterday Closing Thoughts: Wouldn't it be terribly ironic if Gracie doesn't pick 'Historical' style for either of the last two Fashion Checks, so I wouldn't get to wear the Ninja Outfit? Even better, I got double the amount thanks to the good-luck charm. Hunting for eggs was a lot of fun, except for the ones that required fishing and diving. Tasks Accomplished: Dug up fossils Got 7/8 bells from the bell rock Harvested Lychees and Cherries Got bells from the bell trees Caught four bees Got a Lovely Doll from a tree [it's...interesting, but I'm not sure if I want to keep it yet] Got stung by bees [I had my net ready and everything, but I missed and hit the tree instead] Harvested Pears Got a Modern Wood Lamp from a tree [which I ended up selling, because I've got plenty of lamps] Sold fruit, bees, beehives, and fossils Harvested and sold Bananas and Coconuts Gathered and sold Seashells Updated Kittycat Town Dream Got a random haircut [long and blonde, but otherwise not much different from my previous purple one] Items Received: Letter + Mini Dharma [from Pate; I...really have no idea what it's supposed to be] Checkered Tile [bought] Folk Guitar [bought] DF #47 again = Metroid #16 again = Iron Frame [consolation prize; haven't I got this three times already?] Yellow Tulip and Yellow Lily [bought and planted] Chima Geogorgi Dress [bought; I have no idea why it's named that, but it's pretty] Next Plans: same as yesterday Closing Thoughts: I think the next holiday is Weeding Day, which...doesn't seem like any fun now that I know that I can't get all the flower furniture. As for prizes, I got an Egg Basket, which the first six eggs were for, four Zipper Bunny Pictures, which...I actually didn't want, and Egg Bench, Egg Clock, Egg Stereo, and Egg TV. All the other eggs had candy, which are kind of just an aesthetic thing. So...yeah. I kind of feel like trying to get more eggs, to try to get the Egg Lamp, simply because it's beautiful. I gave up on trying to get the Egg Lamp yesterday after only getting two extra eggs, and both of them had candy. So...if anyone has a spare Egg Lamp, I'm open to trade. Tasks Accomplished: Harvested Durians Dug up fossils Harvested Mangos Did a lot of gardening Harvested Pears and Apples Delivered a present from Colton to Lionel, got a Red Flannel Shirt in return [it reminds me of an old coat my dad used to have, so I decided to keep it] Harvested Perfect Cherries Got 7/8 bells from the bell rock Harvested Bananas and Coconuts Finally collected the customized Pawn from Cyrus [I kept forgetting it was still at ReTail] Visited Katrina Sold fruit and fossils Gathered and sold Seashells Updated kittycat Town Dream Saved mail Rearranged a bit in the food room Watered flowers Items Received: Letter [from Friga] Letter + CD Player [from mom; that's really nice, but I already have the Dice CD Player] Minimalist Bed [bought; I've almost got all the Minimalist furniture, so I figured I might as well get it again] DF #5 again = Hero Pants #5 again = Yellow Pikmin Hood Yellow Rose and Yellow Lily [bought and planted] Next Plans: same as yesterday [is it ever going to rain? Sheesh.] Closing Thoughts: The only major things really left on my to do list are: get all of the Gulliver items, unlock the last Nookling Shop upgrade, catch all the fish, bugs, and diving creatures [which will take months, so that's alright], and get the last five PWPs that I want.
