Molly was at the campsite today, and I convinced her to move in! I'm so, so happy. She instantly became a favourite when I saw her in Chuggaaconroy's New Leaf Let's Play, and now she can be a favourite in my town. I saw the Pink Carnation I gave Goldie ages ago at the ReTail, so I bought it back and gave it to Cookie for her birthday. KuraTheChibiSleepingBeauty Posted July 11, 2021 Author Share Posted July 11, 2021 Day 555: July 11, 2021 Weekly: Redd: none Extra: Dug up one new Gyroid [I still don't have them all yet, sheesh] Delivered a present from Molly to Del, and from Peanut to Goldie Convinced Savannah to stay Met Pudge the Bear Cub and Deirdre the Deer at the Campsite So, I've decided that there's only three things I want to do still in New Leaf: 1) Complete the art collection 2) Get the Lefty Lucky Cat, Ivory Piano, and Taiko Drum 3) Unlock and make the Jungle Gym next to the town hall as a present for Isabelle That means, no more Turnips, as I decided that getting the Silver Badge was enough, and I'll try for the Lunar Horizon Wallpaper and Lunar Surface Carpet in New Horizons instead. Also, Julian was at the campsite, but I still had a full town. Oh, well. I've got him in New Horizons, so that's alright. Also also, Chops finally, finally moved out. Now to make friends with Del so that he'll leave, too. [...that sounds mean.] I've also [um] decided that for villagers that I have in New Horizons [of which, surprisingly, there's only two, Cherry and Savannah], I'm going to let them move if they decide to move, as well as Peanut once I get her picture. Only about as mean as me for thinking the same thing. There's so many dream villagers, there's no way to have every one you want. At least this way you'll be able to have twice as many, in a way. Then, the very next day, Diana was in the campsite! It took awhile to get her to move in, but I succeeded! Also, Cherry is moving in 10 days, so I must remember to give extra presents to NH Cherry. First, Peanut decided not to move only a couple days beforehand. Then Diana wanted to move, seemingly not liking it here [what she actually said was that she and Kittycat Town go together like grape juice and French toast, which sounds like a fine combination to me, but anyway], and when I asked her to stay, it seemed like she was only saying yes to appease me. *sigh* THEN Cookie wanted to move, and when I asked her to stay, she got all emotional and proclaimed us 'best friends forever'. KuraTheChibiSleepingBeauty Posted December 31, 2021 Author Share Posted December 31, 2021 So, it turns out that Spork moved out, presumably on Christmas Day, since that's one day I didn't play New Leaf, [along with yesterday], and now someone named Harry is moving in next to Diana's house. Other than this, there's really no news. I only play for less than five minutes a day now--a once round the town on the chance that a villager thinking of moving might come up to chat, checking the plaza for Redd to get that last painting I'm missing, over to the Campsite to check for a visitor, and up to the Nooklings' to check for the three items I'm still kind of wanting. I've been increasingly dissatisfied with all the brown patches, and there's rogue flowers and weeds and Gyroids everywhere, and it's just...sad, to see something that I put so much effort into just kind of...turn into a disaster. I still really care about Goldie, and Cookie, and Merengue, and Lolly, and Diana and Molly...[but not Harry the very ugly Hippo, I don't like him at all], so, yeah. I don't really know what to do.
