MojoSolid
I have had crushes on women before - sometimes for YEARS, but I've never felt the urge to pursue these feelings. At first I thought it was simply social anxiety or that I was commitment-phobic. After finding AVEN however and reading into Asexuality things are jumping out at me and ringing bells (like the concept of a queerplatonic relationship or 'squish.') I'm leaning towards a lithoromantic orientation, but I'm not prepared to commit just yet. One of the key characteristics is that romantic feelings for a crush evaporate once those feelings are reciprocated. As a man it's socially considered to be my job to pursue or initiate romantically (which I never do) so I don't feel experienced enough in this regard as my crushes rarely ever get confronted that way. I'm just wondering how other lithoromantic guys have experienced this. If your crushes never get reciprocated, how did you settle on a litho orientation?
