Is there a "I don't have it in my country but I'd be sure to like it if it was" option? It looks like a pretty good biscuit.

It looks and sounds very yummy but have never had or seen one... maybe I'll try to make some for Christmas😋 (need new recipes for stuff I can actually eat)

Edit: And I've finally learned what custard is... why is it not just called vanilla cream?

I recommend making them. There are plenty of recipes on line. The filling tends to be a bit squidgy but the taste is fabulous!

As Neil Armstrong famously once said, "Home-made custard creams - that's one small step for a man, one giant leap for mankind! " 😎

At the risk of derailing the thread @Custard Cream may I ask you for a response to the following controversial (?) statement...

Bourbon Creams! 🤔

It's impossible to derail a thread if it has no purpose to start with!

Drop the prefix 'im' and insert the adjectival 'genuinely constructive' between 'no' and 'purpose' and you could be describing the whole raison d'etre of Hot Box! 😂

I don't know what a custard cream biscuit is but I do love a vanilla custard filled doughnut so I am going to assume the two are similar in flavor. But Custard Cream, I don't know them well but if they are anything like vanilla custard filled doughnuts then we would get along well.

I'm very fond of vanilla custard filled doughnuts.  Especially the chocolate iced ones.

Great Britain's oldest ally, Portugal, is also a big fan of custard. The pastel de nata (custard tart if you're British) is a national institution. The British alliance with Portugal is cemented with custard! 😍
