Homer
Quote Q: Lots of people around me are talking about first kisses, along with other firsts, if you get what I’m saying. Even right now, as I sit with my teammates, they are talking and I don’t get it. I don’t want it and if I think about it I get so uncomfortable. I don’t know if it’s because I am just religious and that’s how I was raised, or if I’m asexual. People talk about what it means to be gay and bi, but I don’t know what asexuality means. So I guess what I’m asking is: How do you know if you’re asexual and what the heck is sexual desire?—Mollie, 16 Nov 6, 2019 — https://www.teenvogue.com/story/how-to-know-if-youre-asexual-or-just-not-ready-to-have-sex
- Saph -
Thank you for sharing this. I found the detailed analysis of this simple question interresting. I like that it addresses confounding factors like religion. Also it says that labels should not be a prison, which is a main concern when addressing asexuality of younger people.
