Derrick Posted October 19, 2019 Share Posted October 19, 2019 I've been an occasional lurker here for a while (if you check my profile this is my first post despite this account being created on 2/8/19), but I finally decided to make my first post! I always felt weird when all the people around me started talking about relationships and sex, but I gradually just accepted that I was kind of different than them. It took me a while to get over the feeling that I was missing out on something that everyone else had, but I got over that feeling with the help of multiple things (including this community!). I have to say, I was super glad to see that I wasn't the only one when I found this community, which I think a lot of you can agree with. I'm happy to join this community! I know that feeling, I realised that I'm an Aromantic Asexual after I started hearing romantic and sexual comments from my peers and in media and felt bewildered.
