AspieAlly613
I think it's a mistake for Yankees' manager Aaron Boone to start Tanaka in Game 4. Unless the Yankees want to go with a short-rest starter later, they'd have to use their original game 4 strategy in one of games 4, 5, 6, or 7. I would instead have Chad Green pitch the first inning of Game 4, then have CC Sabathia try to pitch innings 2-6, avoiding the top of the Astros' order the first time through. (This is an increasingly accepted strategy called "using an opener".) Then Tanaka could start game 5 (with extra rest) against Verlander, Paxton could face Cole, and Severino could face the Game 7 starter. What are your thoughts? Should Tanaka start game 4 on regular rest and then game 7 if necessary on short rest? That seems to be Aaron Boone's plan.
