Beanie7
Hey. I am just wondering how many asexuals out there masturbate and if so how frequently. I do it probably once a week and after every time I feel disgusted with my actions. I never find sexual media to be arousing in a mental sense, although it does physically arouse me but that is natural human behaviors. I always just start getting a feeling of arousal and then masturbate to rid myself of it or help myself fall sleep. It is almost like a chore and I view any sexual content very clinically. It makes me curious because I don't really understand the pleasurable side of any of it so it seems foreign. So what's your opinion? Let me know, I'm very curious. Also for the longest time I worried that if since I masturbate maybe i wasn't asexual but i have since come to terms and accepted my asexuality, so yay for that
Internetlionboy
I'm ace and I love masturbating. I do it just to feel good and help me fall asleep
lemon_lime
I never thought masturbating affected my asexuality. I dunno why. When I heard about asexuals I just thought, yep that’s me. Even though i knew I liked to masturbate a lot. Like every other day. I enjoy it as some personal time and I like to try to get creative. It’s just really physically pleasurable for me. There isn’t any more to it. Although I do need to watch porn when I do it and try to take my mind out of the scenario and think about other people doing it, not myself. EngineeRaven
When I was a teenager, I masturbated a lot. As in several times a week. Maybe it's the calmer hormonal cycle or the fact that I no longer have a room alone for myself, but it reduced to once a month. Porn itself does rarely arouse me physically or mentally, but it's a help to concentrate and not fall asleep. Even if most of the time it makes my brain go "ew, ok, but why is that good?" Tirisilex
"after every time I feel disgusted with my actions." I feel exactly the same way.
