It's like in the Assassin's Creed games: on the one hand you have the shadowy forces of freedom and individuality (pancakes) and on the other hand the shadowy forces of unity and conformity (waffles). The entire history of civilization has effectively been a game of cat and mouse between these two breakfast foods and the people who love them. [Am I off-topic?
