Ive always heard it as a C with like a longer buzzing pronounciation so....Other I suppose?

Depends on what word. And if the word is on a product i pronounce it as the country of origin. 

 

But in Swedish zäta.

Another non-native English speaker here. In the English language classes, they taught the form "zee" [ziː] first.

Funnily enough... I learned it as "zed" in school, but drifted towards saying "zee" over time because media being what they are, I more often hear US English than UK English.

I tend to switch my pronunciation of certain things when talking to my British family and friends to avoid getting made fun of. It doesn’t always work - either way, it’s pointed out.
