neptune3
I've only ever seen one James Bond movie, and it was one of the relatively newer ones with Daniel Craig. But I know enough to agree with you wholeheartedly. Although that doesn't seem to stop the main char from Perfect Assassin. He gets into plenty of trouble regardless. Haha. Can't wait to pick up the 2nd book in the series.
Arodash
Big big big Bond fan and have seen I think all films dating back to the first casino royale. I haven't gotten very far in that plot, but their relationship started. The best part (for me) was that one of the dialog options talking to her when she reveals her asexuality is basically "I am that way, too", which I clicked on in record time. So far, they have done a really good job with the character and representation. They don't make a huge deal out of it, but it is one of her concerns. They also have pretty good dialog options in general, you can be supportive or dismissive or aggressive or whatever. I'm happy. Needless to say, I'm going to keep this character in my party the entire time. Reveal hidden contents I'm impressed with how they handled her being asexual. I think they actually took the time to do some research. At one point in the game you can choose to help an NPC out by seeing if another NPC is interested in her. During the interaction when she is describing how she feels about the other NPC Parvati said it sounds like she has a squash. I was so impressed with that.

MacAran
I don't have time to read through the whole thread but if no one has mentioned it, Ruth, the white dragon from The Dragon Riders of Pern series. Yes, he's a dragon, but dragons in that world are sentient and many (including Ruth) have human level intelligence. When asked if he wanted to go on a mating flight to chase a female his reaction is "but why would I want to?" And that is just so perfect.

I heard the squish comment was like "uhhh..... thats deffinatley an ace term" and I actually have a lingering feeling that one of the devs at Obsedian is an ace because this is not their first sort of outwardly asexual character, going all the way back to Fallout 1 and even wasteland they had some pretty out there characters. QueerAroAce
In Anime/Manga, some possible asexual characters are: 1) The main character, Sakamoto. From the anime/Manga: English title: Haven't You Heard? I'm Sakamoto. Original Language Title: Sakamoto desu ga Name: Sakamoto Gender: Male Character personality: -Rational, when troubles appear he thinks in a logical manner. -Caring, regardless of age, gender or status he is kind to everyone. -Badass, he doesn't take garbage from anyone, not to say he is a fighting type, but uses his intelligence and creativity to get out of problems. -Creative, thinks outside the box to solve problems. Why I beileve he is asexual: Sakamoto, displays signs of being an aromantic asexual. Evidence #1: -During romantic situations, or topics referring to them, he is aloof, unconcerned and indifferent. -He is happy receiving confessions, or admiration of others regardless of gender but will respectfully refuse their intentions. Evidence #2 -He never shows intentions or says anything to others to indicate he would enjoy physical intimacy with anyone. -In fact he will, side step if someone tried on purpose to throw themselves into his arms. Evidence #3 -He values friendship, and more than likely enjoys platonic skinship. When touched by a friend he will accept and return the gesture. Evidence #4 -He has no history of dating anyone, flirting with others. Was never hurt romantically, since he had no crushes nor did he blush around either genders shown in the series. 2) The Secondary Character, Best friend of the MC. Makoto Sunakawa From the Anime/Manga: English Title: My Love Story! Original Language Title: Ore Monogatari!: Makoto Sunakawa &
lanson
Nobody has mentioned it yet? Alastor from Hazbin Hotel has been confirmed asexual by the creator, Vivziepop. But since it happened during a Q&A where someone asked if he was, I believe she just thought "Can I imagine him being sexually attracted to anybody? No... ok, he's asexual". Kinda like the characters we say might be asexual because not only they never have sexual intercourse or relationships in canon material but don't seem the type to be interested in it. I think that's very different from asexuality actually being a part of the character that's brought up canonically. BTW, Hazbin Hotel's pilot looks freaking fantastic, can't wait for more! Arodash
He is. The law Judge. Jury. And Executioner. Judge Dredd is in fact a confirmed asexual and has been since his early days in the comics. Also he is probably one law bringer any aspiring police officer should look up to. Arodash
John 117 Masterchief in the UNSC Navy is more than likely an asexual as well, but its probably due to the experiments done on him and his upbringing
Asexual of Myth & Legend
In the '90s sitcom Family Matters the main character is kid named Steve Urkel whom I think was most likely asexual (though definitely not aromantic.) Now, it's been a long time since I've seen this show, so forgive me if I make any mistakes. Let's start with the fact that he remains a virgin throughout the entire run of the series (that's nine seasons!) It's stated that this is because he wants to wait till marriage, but I feel that there are other aspects of his character that suggest he might be ace. He's very uncomfortable with anything sexual, at one point he had a girlfriend who was constantly throwing herself at him and he turned her down every time. Even nudity made him uncomfortable; I remember one episode where he was taking an art class in which he was supposed to sculpt a nude model and he could barely even look at her, he sculpted a house instead. Purrsuasion
Just got back from seeing Frozen 2, and (not a spoiler, because it's just continuity of her already-previously-established character in the first movie and short) I think it's plenty safe to claim Elsa as one of our own now (likely as an aro-ace, I'd presume). I mean, she quite clearly wasn't into anyone at all in the romantic/partnership sense back in movie 1 already, and that same characterization is continued here (complete with a sequence that practically screams her joy in the fact that {actually kind-of important spoiler now, view at own risk} Spoiler "SHE [Elsa herself] was the one she was looking for," as well as a VERY neat solution to the subtle, implicit plot problem that had always bugged my editing sense since movie 1 that a monarch {and this part is a MAJOR spoiler, so PLEASE DON'T VIEW IF YOU HAVEN'T SEEN THE MOVIE YET AND STILL INTEND TO DO SO} Spoiler has 'a duty to procure an heir at some point' practically written into their very job description-- preferably as soon as possible after their coronation, too, to secure the line to the throne should anything unfortunate happen to said monarch-- and thus they have to have, y'know, if not some kind of interest in that sort of thing, then at least the semblance of duty to go about it anyway... and Elsa never once gave even the slightest hint of intending to do anything of the sort. Indeed, only one of the two royal sisters ever did-- and it's not the one that Let It Go. So, to keep both sisters' characterization, uh, in-character, there could only ever have been one solution to resolve that never-mentioned but always-implicitly-present plot hole... and that solution was indeed implemented here!), so yeah. Priestess de Mantinea
I'm totally convinced that Elsa is aro/ace after seeing Frozen 2. Besides the excellent reason given above by @Purrsuasion, the beginning scene of little Elsa and Anna playing together really confirms it. Anna makes the dolls kiss each other (saying something like "What is danger when there is love?"), and Elsa very openly reacts with disgust, showing that clearly she's not into stereotypical romantic love. Also Anna finishes their playtime story with "And they all get married!" (showing that she has always been very amatonormative) , but Elsa does not show any enthusiasm for that ending. Twigwilter
Daryl from The Walking Dead. I've only seen up to season 8 but so far he's had no love interests where most other characters have been paired off a couple of times. He's also pretty close with Carol but when she suggested they could "fool around" he wasn't interested.
