Seconded! Been going out of my way to call North Macedonia by its name and I'm happy to see it recognised.

Another Polish user here.

Although, to be honest, I usually define this region rather as "Central-Eastern Europe". Indeed, according to some measurements, the geometric centre of Europe is in Poland (although it's controversial because of doubts about the exact course of European-Asian border, affiliation and inclusion of islands such as Iceland, Azores, Madera, Svalbard...). For a lot of people considering Poland to be Central Europe is a way of saying "We are Europeans, have always been, it's not our fault what has been done to us at Yalta!". In a way, I mean a similar thing by saying "Central-Eastern": to me it's a reminder that this whole region is tainted by totalitarianism. I myself wasn't born in a democratic country - I was born in a more liberal period, during the so-called "carnival of Solidarity", when the Solidarity trade union was allowed to operate legally and Poland would more accurately be described as authoritarian that as full-blown totalitarianism. Anyway, since 1956 the communist regime was pretty much always more liberal in Poland than the Eastern Bloc average, we were called "the jolliest barrack in the camp"...
