Pixiestardust
I’m 45 have 2 kids and have been married for 15yrs, together for 22. Long story short I have always felt different but couldn’t put my finger on it (also very good at ignoring myself). I realise now I am asexual. I’ve told my husband who is very understanding but doesn’t understand me, he still has needs etc. I feel like I’ve sold him short discovering so late in life. It’s so awkward, I don’t know how to move forward with this. I’m happy just being companions but he is not.

NickyTannock
@Pixiestardust Welcome to AVEN! I wish I had advice for you, but I'm happy your husband has been understanding, even if he doesn't understand. I hope you find a way to move forward with it. Incidentally, it is a tradition here to welcome new members by offering cake, and here's a 'Sprinkles of pixie dust!' Cake,
