Crazycrazycultist
Hey, do you know what's cool? Dinosaurs! What's your favorite Dinosaur? My favorite has to be the Triceratops. There's something about them that makes them so awesome looking to me.
Quacks
I don't have one, I don't know much about them. Was never taught in school 😔
KuraTheChibiSleepingBeauty
Iguanadon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and the super big herbovores, and all the raptors, and T. rex of course, and Carnotaurs, and all the marine ones even though I know they're not dinosaurs, and the flying ones [especially Quetzalcoatlus] even though I know they're not dinosaurs either,

daveb
Hmmm, tough one. I usually have trouble picking favorites (of most things) because there are too many good ones to choose from. Therizinosaurus, just because it looks so bizarre (maybe even more so when feathered?). Spinosaurus, with it's "sail". Dracorex, for it's dragon-like appearance. Various smaller feathered dinosaurs (some of which probably had the power of flight). And so many others.
Banjo54
This thread is a welcome surprise! My answer is going to be a bit nerdy, because paleontology is a strong interest of mine. It's honestly hard to choose just one, because it tends to change a lot. My favorites include Albertosaurus, Torvosaurus, Tanycolagreus, Chasmosaurus, and Chungkingosaurus. Guest
The ankylosaurs. All of them, especially the one known in the books I used to have as ankylosaurus. He was a tough, tank looking creature with a club on its tail that it could use to bash bigger dinosaurs with. I just recently found out that they are not only a single species but an entire family too ( at least I think that's what I read, I may be wrong).
purpleflavoredpi
I'd say velociraptors, even though I know Jurassic park is wrong and they look more like chickens. For one, they have a pretty sweet name
Evren
The Pterosaurs Because nothing is as awesome as imagining yourself riding in on this ridiculously cool lizard.

iyote
I like the Qantassaurus. Small bipedal herbivore from Australia. I also love (feathered) velociraptors. I think the feathers make them look even cooler. 33 minutes ago, Evren said: The Pterosaurs Because nothing is as awesome as imagining yourself riding in on this ridiculously cool lizard. Quetzalcoatlus, right? They're so amazing!!
Guest
@iyote I guess there is something kind of cool about them being more bird-like, too.
Zagadka
I don't know if I have a favorite now. Did as a kid, that changed weekly. But I do really dig the new discoveries made in the past few decades with feathers and protrusions and new postures/gaits. They are much more than big lizards now.
CatWho3120
Gallimimus, because it's fun to say. Protoceratops is cool, too.

(Just nerding out a bit, I'm not going to be a jerk here) Very cool group of creatures though. The fact that something giraffe sized could fly is incredible! Microraptor is certainly one of my top picks.
fuzzipueo
Ceratopsians of all sorts. Titanosaurs Maiasaur and other duck billed dinosaurs Compsognathus Dracorex Hogwartsia Archaeopteryx Coelophysis

Twisted Tempest
Majungasaurus for its name alone. Carcharodontosaurus, big enough to put a T. Rex to shame. Liopleuradon and Mosasuarus are probably my most favourites though. Both monster of the ocean, some of the biggest predators that ever existed, though that isn't to say they were the biggest... Soul Searcher
Never had one. Dinosaurs are dinosaurs. Period.

CelesteAdAstra
What a fun thread! I used to be obsessed with dinosaurs as a kid, now I'm mostly into living fossils like trilobites. Gotta love trilobites. Fun fact: they have blue blood, so they're basically nature's nobility. My favourite dinosaur is probably the gentle Brachiosaurus or the sea-monster-like Plesiosaurus.
