I was in Germany a few years ago on a train with friends and there were some rough looking football fans on it. One was sleeping and had his feet up on the seat. A female conductor came by and said some things to him that sounded harsh. He half-woke and mumbled some things back and she snapped back a few more things at him and left as he put his feet down and sat up a bit more but nodded off again in that position. I assumed she wanted him to take his feet off the seat and they had some strong words over it. I asked my friends and they said all she asked was when his stop was and that she's make sure to wake him so he didn't miss it! I was back last year and decided that I wanted to be a bicycle riding mail delivery person in Germany! We don't have those in Canada!

Conditional offer granted ... will get the formal letter tomorrow to confirm. (I'm ready to settle into a permanent job, and know what I really want/don't want, so will be scrutinizing to see if there's any catches that didn't come up in the interview - which happened to me in the past - but I think this'll be "the one"!) I've been at a public library part time (which has been great), but moving to a college will give me more money and full time hours, plus work that's closer to my heart/skills. Year 7 to 9 is kind of like the equivalent to middle school here in the states right? Those are some tough cookies ...I could never teach teenagers . I teach pre-K so that’s 4-5 year olds
