Skycaptain
Sexuality is a spectrum, do there's a big variation amongst the population. Some desire multiple partners, some monogamy, same as some want sex many times a day, daily, a few times a week or whatever, there are no absolutes

The person is Asexual and cannot visualise in the minds eye. She is also not attracted to pornography Very fascinating video. I, too, look forward to the day where asexuality (among pansexuality, polysexuality and other identities out there) will be just as well-known as things like heterosexuality and homosexuality. Yes indeed, the current models are too narrow and there are a lot of people struggling to understand themselves because of a lack of information and research As I have mentioned in the past until I found out that other people can visualise and hear themselves speaking there was no way for me to know that I am wired up differently When I was young and did not experience attraction, I just thought that I had not met the right person. When my friends talked endlessly about their sex lives I assumed they were exaggerating, boys talk, I would call it When I met my now wife there was a long list of events that had us keep running into each other, plus my brother who knew my memory was terrible was secretly working as a matchmaker. I realise that was a cheat but without his assistance I really do not think that I could have ever become attracted to anybody. Both my wife and I are glad he helped, and we also appreciate the help the Therapist gave us when I lost attraction, following the brain hemorrhage This young lass here has Aphantasia. She cannot visually fantasize and she also does not experience attraction very easily. She has spoken to others with Aphantasia that are saying they are not on the Asexual Spectrum but the folk that I have spoken say they are. The poll I posted earlier suggests there could be a link. I would like to see some research done. They can actually pick up Aphantasia on brain scans https://theestablishment.co/i-have-no-sexual-fantasies-due-to-aphantasia/index.html

I guess one could say I felt confused about the idea of people so young being attracted to one another in this way. It wasn't until later on in high school that I realized that they were, indeed, serious.
