redandblue
Hi everyone, I've been reading for a while but first time posting. Apologies if it's been discussed before but I haven't found a topic that goes into this yet. I'm asexual with a sexual partner. We've been together one year and are still figuring things out in relation to having sex. I could happily never have sex again but they want sex more often so my question is: as an asexual, how do you initiate sex? We've tried using a phrase and will now try and stick to a set day that suits my cycle, but I find it difficult to talk about sex, would never deliberately initiate it myself and don't enjoy receiving or giving any type of foreplay. They find it difficult to maintain arousal if I don't participate more. Any advice would really help. Thank you in advance!
CajunAce
Maybe try some pleasurable activities before the sex part. Like complimenting, massaging, cuddling naked, and etc. Maybe talk with your partner about this. I'm sure they would appreciate the effort.
AspieAlly613
A number of people here have been on each side of that. You've come to the right place. Also, WELCOME TO AVEN!!! It's customary to welcome newcomers with cake.
