Grumpy Alien
I have never had any desire to masturbate, my libido is so low. I don’t get anything out of porn or erotica. When I’m not in a relationship, the thought of sex never even comes up. I think I’ve had... 4? Maybe 5? Crushes in my 26 years. I don’t find that many strangers “hot” and when I do, the idea of sex with them just creeps me out. I don’t understand the appeal in one night stands, either. But with my partner, I enjoy sex. I love being intimate. I like trying new things in the bedroom. It makes me feel closer to him and loved. Physically, it feels nice but I’m rarely able to orgasm. Tell me honestly - Do you think I’m ace... or something else? Asking for a friend.
Liana
Sounds like you might be demisexual to me.
CajunAce
yeah, maybe demisexual. But that's still under the umbrella since it's only with one person ever for you. Just be whoever you want to be, even if that's a pug-bee
Guest
Try the licking test then you'll know for sure! 😂
NoraGrace
I'd say you were demisexual, like most of the other people commenting here do. this means that you only feel sexual attraction when a bond has been formed. This would explain why you only want sex with your partner.

Tell me honestly - Do you think I’m ace... or something else? Asking for a friend. Difficult one. The first paragraph definitely sounds asexual. The second paragraph, on its own, would sound sexual. Together... yes, you could be demi. Here’s some food for thought: Sex can be enjoyable as an ace; especially if like me you enjoy sensuality. I relate to enjoying trying new things in the bedroom. In my case, I don’t experience sexual attraction, but I can enjoy sex, so why not make it new and exciting?
Guest
I think the proper question is do you want to lick your partner's abs, butt, or genitalia when you see them? 😂
Homer
I see nothing unusual here... most of my sexual friends would say pretty much the same.
Salmiakki
This reminds me of a Finnish forum that I used to be a part of where people always made fun of others by trolling them and making threads similar to this. It's really funny xD

Blissful_Sins
Well now I'm questioning if I'm asexual, for the only reason that I have crushes left and right like I drink water oop- But it's probably cuz I'm always bored-- But I, you seem asexual from what you said? Idk I'm not really an expert, still can't explain it properly to my friends without them telling me you're pretending to be or making it up :l

Ok what if, if you're tempted to bite an erotic area (is that the word?) then you aren't asexual but if it's something like the hand then are asexual

Skycaptain
Going back to the OP. There's many possible answers to this question. Possibly rather than asexual grey or demi may be a more apposite term. It could be that they have met the near-mythical "right person" the only only one in their life.

This reminds me of a joke which was quite popular when I was about 12 years old. Yes, it was told by children of that age, we of course considered it a little subversive because it could count as talking about sex. Unfortunately, it's also quite outdated since it describes pretty much "innocent" stuff as perversions. Probably the author actually had no clue about sexology. But no more explanations, because explanations spoil jokes. Quote The teacher asks children who would they want to be when they grew up. Little Johnny answered that he wants to become a sexologist, a specialist in sexual perversions. The teacher thought that maybe Johnny doesn't even know what it means, and so she asked him to explain it. - I'll show it with an example. Three women are eating ice cream. One them is licking, the other biting and the third is sucking. Which one is married? - I don't know... - the teacher answered, embarassed - maybe the one who is licking?... - No - the one which is wearing a ring. And that what you are thinking of are sexual perversions.

It's probably an international joke. In the Polish version the boy was named Jasio, which is the equivalent of Little Johnny in Anglo-American jokes (incidentally, Jan = John) and Vovochka in Russian jokes - a kind of smartass little boy who misleads teachers with his logic and his knowledge of "inappropriate matters".

That's actually really interesting! The Greek version of Vovochka is called "Τοτός", which is a hellenicised version of the French Vovochka, who's called Toto.
