4EverAceandAlone Posted April 17, 2019 Share Posted April 17, 2019 Hey, all- glad to see that I have found myself joining these forums I'm hoping to have joined for both support and comfort from other folks who can relate to me- doesn't have sexual desires and doesn't wish to be in a relationship in the outer world. I've always been happily single, as I've never had an SO. I'm very happy with this independence. I also don't wish to engage in any sexual activities- hence why I don't ever watch porn or do any actions relating to such topics. Though what really bothers me is that I don't know that many asexuals in the real world- I'd say 2. But most of my family and coworkers always give me crap on saying the things I do- wishing I would stay single and die a virgin. They make me sound like I'm stupid at times when I say that, which frustrates me even more. They say they used to say the same things too. Though I feel this is a different situation because of my sexuality. I was quite accepting of this when I looked into it further- so I'm more than happy to call myself ace. I'm happy to see a community I can relate to. People who I can relate to with this. I hope I can find some more comfort and acceptance from you all! Link to post Share on other sites
