My name is Lydia and I am currently a student at Endicott College. My thesis is about the effects of college policies and resources on the mental health of sexual minorities. I am conducting research through a survey. I am hoping this research can be used to create changes in college policies and resources or at least spark discussion about the need for more comprehensive support of LGBTQ+ students. There is a major lack of support for emerging identities such as asexuality and I hope that my research can be published so that colleges and universities can better serve this population.
