Enneagram is about motivation and inner fears. Each person has a core type, and 2 fixes. Creating a tritype. Everyone has facets of every type present, but have a preference. Often I would agree and disagree with a part of each card, and some cards were so similar that I couldn't actually tell the difference between them, so I just picked randomly in those cases. The statements at the end were better because they were clear in their meaning, but sometimes I got three statements that wouldn't describe me at all, so again I would just pick randomly. I wish I could have disagreed with each one instead of having to rank them. Did anyone else have similar problems? The results at the end sort of explain me but they get quite a lot wrong, and the personality graph just looks random to me. It isn't what I would say I am at all. Link to post Share on other sites

I recommend reading about the types. Tests can be inaccurate. This is one of those systems that you can choose the one you relate to most. But try not to type based on behavior. No its just a joke in the community, that is based on a misconception with the sexual/intimate instinctual varient, and type 8. Sx/intimate just means you are more aware of chemistry between people, and have a magnetic personality. You care less about small talk, and social hierarchies and do your own thing. Type 8 is a gut type, that embraces anger and intensity. You don't accept people controlling you etc. Its vice is Lust. Every type has a vice. Try reading more, its interesting. But be sure to read with the sx dominate 8 descriptions. If it doesnt match, try a different test or just read up on all the types. Link to post Share on other sites

I appreciated the interpretation at the end. The interpretations are a bit more motivational and fluffy than the Myers Briggs, but I appreciated it just as well. As part of ongoing Census organisation, and in an attempt to keep the demographics of the polls current with the active user base at the time, the polls will last for one year from now on.
