I wear mine as a symbol to myself that there are others going through a similar experience. I hope someone sees mine and feels the same!

Only 3 people really have noticed - 1st is my closest friend who listened to me agonize over getting it and getting comfortable with it. The 2nd was her husband, he googled it to find out why I was so worked up. (Sure saved having to come out to him 😂)

Mom saw a new ring and said she though it was pretty; no subtext given to her yet.

Side note : I think that in 2 years none of my patients have commented on it. And they stare at my hands a  lot (needles yo 😁). Co-workers noticed at the start, and now never comment.

If I had a black ring, one of the reasons to wear it would surely be "To make ace exclusionists Big Mad"

Error 404: Page Not Found

Only one person so far has recognized my ring, but they didn't outright say that.

Instead they asked if it had any of my rings had meaning, and I said that my ace ring was an ace ring. In response, the person said that that was what they had thought but they didn't want to really outright say that, in case that was not the case. (I was not out to the person as ace prior to this interaction)

I'm new to the ace community and don't really feel like it is a big enough part of my identity to wear a ring.  I do use the demisexual flag on social media.

I want a ring so much, it's unreal. I actually bought two of them, but they were both too big, so I just used them to fidget with. I think I want a ring because 1) they just look cool, 2) if somebody noticed that would be cool and 3) just expressing my ace-ness is cool, even if nobody gets it.

Expressing things that only a few select people would understand is strangely satisfying.

(Right CHAOS?)
