Ret. Posted January 10, 2019 Share Posted January 10, 2019 Sorry if this is the wrong place What is your favourite soundtrack from any form of media (Film, Video Game, etc)? Although I'm sure I could list personal examples for ages, undoubtedly my favourite soundtrack is the Portal 2 OST by Mike Morasky. As well as being a beautiful mix of electronic/industrial/orchestral/ambient genres, it perfectly sets the mood for the game and (As a good soundtrack should) represents the point you are at in the game. Though the songs in the OST vary quite a bit, my favourite (And the one I feel summarizes the OST the best) is: I often find that I enjoy listening to the music from the game more than I enjoy the game itself (Which is saying quite a bit) Link to post Share on other sites

Analogue: A hate story OST by Isacc Schankler But I also particularly like the OSTs for: Bastion Skullgirls Iconoclasts Blue Reflection ... probably some others I can't think of right now... It's absolutely glorious, I love it so much. I also love the soundtrack to Thor: Ragnarok, the Ratchet & Clank game series, Miraculous Ladybug, Big Hero 6 and Doctor Who. Strifed Posted January 12, 2019 Share Posted January 12, 2019 Off the top of my head I love the suite from The Polar Express, Jurassic World (very relaxing soundtrack with some action pieces thrown in), Pokemon movies 1-3 (listen, I know they're children's movies but they have some beautiful pieces, especially Tears of Life, Lugia's Song, Medley from Spell of the Unown), Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron, Skyrim (and Morrowind's Road Most Traveled), The complete Lion King score, The Prince of Egypt (Dreamworks) soundtrack, and the majority of Kingdom Hearts soundtrack.
