Hi all,

Content warning: masturbation, pornography

We received the following request from Agnese, a photographer from Italy:

Quote
My name is Agnese Sbaffi and I am a photographer and visual artist based in Italy.

This questionnaire is part of a visual research on identity related issues. My main focus as photographer and visual artist is on all the elements that people use to identify and affirm themselves. The expression of the self is a delicate process that occurs through the constant interaction between fantasy and perception, between reality and imagination. More precisely, I’m working on an editorial project which attempts to give substance to a scenario where individual identity can be expressed not in opposition to, but simply without sexuality.

The presented questionnaire is useful for that purpose: by answering the questions in a completely free and personal way, you will contribute to the unveiling of this visual environment, this real scenario, where the self is free to exist regardless of sexuality.

Before you start answering the questionnaire make sure you have enough time at your disposal, a working internet connection and the possibility to open new windows in your browser.

(ANSWER ONLY IF YOU ARE OVER 18.)

This study focuses in part on what images come to an asexual's mind to stimulate masturbation, hence the content warning. Please only participate if you feel comfortable in doing so, and feel free to leave the project at any point.

Became too frustrated to answer because the different relationship words were all synonyms to me.

Oh man, I am super not visual.

None of that made any sense to me.

1/3 of the words there just drew literal "404, file not found" in my brain.
