Antares8 Posted October 12, 2018 Share Posted October 12, 2018 Much to my own surprise, I have somehow convinced the Forum to run a story on Asexuality Awareness Week (Oct. 21-27). I'm meeting with one of the reporters on Monday morning to answer some of her questions, but I'm not quite comfortable being named in the article and coming out to my entire community, including prospective employers. (I am seeking a full-time career at the moment and have heard enough stories about discrimination to be a bit paranoid. Also, my parents read the paper, and while they know I'm ace, they aren't very supportive. It's not that they're nasty about it, they just kind of minimize it and don't understand or think it's important.) I'm going to try to use a pseudonym.
